Gary Hustwit, director of Helvetica, has created the second part in his ‘design-trilogy’, called Objectified. It’s a documentary about how we interact with the objects that surround us and about the people who design them.

The documentary features designers like Jonathan Ive, Naoto Fukasawa, Dan Formosa & Davin Stowell from Smart along with Dieter Rams and various designers from IDEO. They offer us great insight into the design process of some very commonly used objects and what our choices in design tell us about ourselves.

It’s also critical about the way consumers dispose of products these days and focuses on a few sustainable designs.
